MoPod Show 2.1 - Gay Comedy Podcast

Well…to say it has been a while is an understatement.  Thanks for all the emails and comments asking us to come back.   We managed to get ourselves online and decided to record and post a quick show just to update you all a bit on what we’ve been up to.  Here’s the rundown:  Peasha is now straight.  Dangina is a professional football player.  Ruphus is in charge of safety for Toyota in Detroit.    Okay…maybe that isn’t exactly the truth…you’ll have to listen to the show for all the actual skinny on what’s up with us.    Thanks for hanging with us.:)

It’s been a while, but finally we were able to get off our dead asses to put up a show.  This week Dangina and Peasha discuss recent happenings.  Dangina was out of control at Fiesta in San Antonio, while Peasha wonders why all the gay people at the bar seem to be getting younger.  Also, we discuss worst case scenarios, clogged toilets, lesbian weddings, swine flu, and Bea Arthur…we miss you Bea!

We’re back and exploring an interesting topic this week…FRIED CHICKEN!  Okay…really we are talking about the politics, purpose and classifications of people in gay bars.  But first, we had to get through a strange little collage of chicken related stories and thoughts.  Be sure to let us know the best Popeye’s chicken coupon you can find within the comments area.  

The role of the gay bar has evolved as gay people have found more acceptance in society.  This begs the question…why do we still go there?  We are also looking at identifying as many different sub groups within a gay bar’s social strata as we can.  We came up with an alarming number of labels which Dangina is going to try and pound into a gay bar bingo game.   Peasha tried to channel Andy Rooney this week with a list of behaviors that ruffle his feathers.  

Yes, once again, more nonsensical, non sequitur, non ending conversations courtesy of Dangina, Peasha, and Uncle Ruphus.  Let us know if you have any requests for something we have not done in a while and we will probably not do it…..but  you never know until you try (we might actually do it).  This time we discuss everything from new forms of erection drugs, to the Watchmen (speaking of penis), to Rachel Ray doing what can only be though of as vegetable porn.  Enjoy!

This week on the MoPod show Peasha and Dangina try to recreate Ruphus’ presence with a sock puppet.  Needless to say we give up after just seconds.  Hear about Dangina’s tapeworm adventure and our trip to NYC, Peasha’s trip to Arkansas and his encounter with cruising “MoBillies and HeBillies”… and lots of meaningless crap that we felt compelled to record and share.  Download, grab a beer, and enjoy.

Yes, it is time once again for The Mopod Show. Dangina, Ruphus, and Peasha discuss everything from pregnant Grammy nominees, to Dakota Fanning (amazing that Chris Evans didn’t really come up during the conversation about Push…….very weird), to whether or not Ruphus has a video on Xtube. Also, this Singles Awareness day Weekend, Gina and Peasha both visit the Big Apple. Ruphus is still undecided.

Let’s hear it for round numbers!  Hey sorry for the lag on posting this weeks…er…last weeks…show.  Dangina caught himself a touch of the black plague and was down for the count for an entire weekend.  So here it is with all its glory and banter.   Thanks for all the email and comments guys.  

Wow…this show was pulled out of the air, or was it our asses.  With little to talk about Dangina and Peasha ramble on for hours…well, really only about half an hour.  Just sit back and enjoy it…we’ll be quick, you will hardly know it even happened.
