MoPod Show 2.1 - Gay Comedy Podcast

In this weeks show, we’re prepping our systems for a full throttle run up to the holiday season.  We have our usual banter and a little of woofy goodness.  Enjoy. 

This week we oscillate between trying to give thanks and trying to diffuse an international incident between Peasha and the country of Sweden. It seems Peasha’s “accent” has really angered one of our Swedish listeners. Let’s the meatballs fly, bitches!

Here we are again for another funtastic Mopod Show.  This week, Dangina, Peasha, and Uncle Ruphus discuss their charities.  Listen as we discuss what is going on in our world as well as the world not located inside our own heads.  Find out what is up with Michelle Obama’s red and black dress.  Also, we have some Mo News with a special alert on dangerous animals and we also learn.  Finally, find out why a pack of midgets might want to beat down a pregnant teen and what could turn a group of train commuters into angry savages.

So, let me just say that once again….the blame for the late posting of this show lies squarely on Dangina’s corporate sell out shoulders. That said, its a good one! Jump in for some really amazing news including a letter from a listener that claims his rekindled love life is due in part to advice from Uncle Ruphus! We also have a Guardian Crackwhore skit! Man, I have missed Trixie!

We’re doing some catch up this week after Dangina dropped the ball and missed our recording session. Peasha insists that he was the REAL victim in all this…and for that we are really sorry. Peasha skipped going to the opera (Gilbert and Sullivan no less!) to go to the movies.

Ruphus considers adopting some new security measures for his next party…and it looks like Dangina and Peasha area going to have to bring their own security to get through.

Dangina got to meet up with some MoPod friends Mike and John and Zach in Austin at Oil Can Harry’s. Dangina had to enduring Zach’s gushing over Peasha and his writing…sigh. Just kidding. We had a good time reliving the “flapjack” episode of Queen Acres, the discovery of the “gerry pixie twink” and another “crofagnon”.

We also delve into the hanky codes (again…) and the trouble of bad lighting in gay bars and the misunderstanding that could ensue. Maybe there is a new business opportunity for the MoPod boys here?

We are back again with another rambling episode of the Mopod show.  This week, we discuss  Gina’s new neighborhood and where he likes to find the best beer and men in lederhosen.  Also, new laws in Maryland that Ruphus may want to heed.  This week is a short show due to the exciting Vice Presidential debate we were eagerly awaiting.  Why aren’t the debates more like a pageant?  Would that make people tune in more?  Perhaps that is what our electoral process needs…a talent competition.  Enjoy the show and stay tuned for more episodes.

It’s not the dawning of the age of aquarius, but it is another MoPod show…and after a few moments of painful singing we get to the good stuff.  Ruphus, Peasha and Dangina reflect on the week, their impending financial ruin, the possibility that the federal government will bail out the MoPod T Shirt business and lots lots more.  

This week, Dangina tries his hand at impersonations, while Peahsa tries his hand at nonpartisanship.  We have a little Mo News, discussion on the rapidly aging gay community, and a little George Takei.  Also, the world’s leggiest woman and the worlds smallest man…….wow what a visual.  Ruphus is off this week, doing Ruphus type stuff…we all know what that is.

This week is another banter-o-rama as Dangina prepares to head south and make new friends…not that there is anything wrong with the current ones. :)  He tries to tap into Ruphus’ ability to pull in new legions of friends.  It turns out Ruphus just uses his olympic level flirting skills.

Peasha begins his annual toothbrushing of his house’s exterior and rotating out his white shoes for his dark shoes.  Both are huge jobs.

We do a brief wildlife education segment (out of nowhere!) exploring the camouflage of killer whales and the tree climbing ability of goats herded by mongoloid children.  FASCINATING! right?

Pigeons and Midgets are these swapple or in any way politically correct ways to talk about people?  Is it possible for Dangina to actually deliver a joke without crickets chirping at the end?   All this and more on this episode of the mopodshow.

On this episode of the MoPod Show we talk about Finland’s triumphant win in the sauna championships, unfortunate tatoos, Michael Phelps’ swimsuit, and Peasha’s conversion (almost) into a musical theatre fan in Las Vegas.

We also discover that Big Mo Daddy has been ghost-writing for Ruphus. Some call it identity theft - We call it team work.  Ruphus still might persecute, prosticate, and prosecute him, just for sport.
